Weʼve raised £535 to get me to the ISKA World Championships in Athens.

    Southampton, United Kingdom
Funded on Saturday, 4th March 2017

    Story

I have been competing in the elite sport of Mauy Thai since an early age and have come a long way since those early days.

I've been given the opportunity to represent England in Athens this May 2017 at the ISKA World Championships and I couldn't be any happier, it's a dream come true!

To be picked for this team means that I do have what it was takes to be worthy of that place and I believe I have the potential to fulfill my dream of becoming a champion fighter. I'll certainly do my very best to make everyone proud and as I represent England to the best of my abilities.

My fighting career has seen me in some tough competitions all over England and I'm still learning a lot. I recently saw a poll where I was ranked 13th in the UK in the 70kg fighter category.

The reason for the fundraiser is that to compete in the sport, the trip is fairly expensive and because of this I do not want to burden my Mum with the full cost of the trip. I'd like her to enjoy the experience of me competing rather than worrying about the expense.

I still go to college, finishing the last year of my Electrical Installation course, working part time at JD Sports and at Exile Gym, Southampton where I train.

In between all of my daily responsibilities I'm training as much as I can. I'm focused and determined that I can do this.

I've already had a great response with some very generous donations and I'm also trying to save my wages, but realistically it will never be enough.

31st March is the deadline to raise £575. If I don't meet that date with the amount, I lose my place.

I'm asking for the help of my family, friends and supporters as you all know more than anyone just how much this means to me.

Please help me get to Athens, I promise to share the photos and videos.

However much you can spare you know it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page 🙂

I've come a long way since my 13th birthday taking part in a sport that I love. Being picked for a recognised team in an international tournament is a dream come true. I'd be grateful for the support of my family and friends to help me raise the funds to see me fulfill my dream.
