Story
Harry is 6 years old from Cheshunt in Hertfordshire and has Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy as the result of being starved of oxygen at birth. Please join us on the journey to get Harry walking after life changing surgery. This surgery is NOT available on the nhs.
We are hoping to raise £75,000 to support Harry to go to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London for an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) that would change his life.
So far we have raised approx £50,000
SDR is an operation that will permanently reduce the spasticity in Harry's lower body and allow the development of his muscles that were previously hindered due to the spasticity. It will allow Harry to experience greater opportunities in life. He will also need two years of intensive physiotherapy to ensure that the SDR Operation is successful.
Jumping, playing football and riding a bike are things Harry can't do now and will struggle to do in the future. When he walks a few steps he is always on tip toes and his feet always turn in making walking difficult, uncomfortable and tiring. As most are aware Harry has numerous falls and is knocked off balance very easily. This operation will change all that.
Thank you for reading and any donations are greatly received.
I will play football one day!!

What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
