Turning 30 makes some people do odd things, I am no exception to this.

On the 14th September to mark the occasion I have decided to step backwards from the 48th floor of one of London's tallest buildings. Then if my nerves allow I will abseil down 'The Cheesegrater' holding onto my own weight for dear life.

I'm not abseiling from 200m to terra firma for nothing it is also for two very worthy causes.

Firstly the Lord Mayor's Appeal Charity where the donations will split further to the Samaritans (https://www.samaritans.org/), Place2Be (https://www.place2be.org.uk/) and OnSide Youth Zones (https://www.onsideyouthzones.org/).

Further more I will also be collecting for Swiss Re's charity of the year Demelza Hospice Care for Children (https://www.demelza.org.uk/).

All of these charities do an incredible amount of good work in the UK, you just have to go onto each of their sites and see that your money is going to immensely worthwhile causes. So please donate what you can.
