In 2015 I went on a charity project to Blantyre, Malawi with my college, Luton Sixth Form College, where we spent time with schoolchildren from Blantyre Girls School and the Henry Henderson Institute. We also worked with orphans at Steka Orphanage and women and girls suffering from AIDS with Mai Aisha Trust, a local charity

After experiencing what life can be like in one of the poorest countries in the world and seeing how small gestures can be of so much benefit, I decided to go back with the college this Summer to continue helping the people of Blantyre.

I am looking to raise £1000 before I leave at the beginning of July which will go towards providing school uniforms, improving the schools and funding meals for over 50 orphans who stay at Steka Orphange.

Funds raised will also go towards other local causes, such as irrigation projects and other local communities in Blantyre.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
