This page is for our beautiful, extraordinary, wonderful Hasna who was first diagnosed with cancer in 2006 when she underwent radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and lumpectomy. She then found out she is a BRCA gene carrier.

After her treatments in 2006 Hasna was well although believed she was not able to conceive. But then, to her surprise, gave birth to her gorgeous daughter Hadassah, a miracle baby, in February 2017. Hasna is a mother of three. Her beautiful and gifted boys Malik (20) and Melchizedeck (13) lost their fathers in accidents when they were young. Hasna has battled through all this hardship and her cancer without ever stopping to give, inspire hope in others and share her incredible positive energy, wisdom and kindness. In October 2017 scans showed three tumours had formed between her heart and lungs. This could have been detected earlier but BRCA gene carriers do not receive intensive screenings from the NHS after a period time although the gene can lead to cancer throughout a life time. Hasna is campaigning to improve BRCA awareness and care.

Hasna has been incredibly proactive and spent the last 3 months researching and contacting experts about treatments and BRCA research.

On January 4th Hasna started chemotherapy and was entered into a randomised controlled immunotherapy trial. She has a brutal course of treatment ahead of her. Hasna needs your financial support to be able to add alternative tumour reduction approaches to her treatment and to enable her to purchase alternative therapies and supplements that will strengthen her as much a possible.
We also want to raise money to allow Hasna and her children to go on short breaks together to take their mind off what is ahead and just be family. Hasna is a warrior queen and she will not lose her spirit in light of the new growth of tumours. She has a wish to reach out and inspire others with her story.
