Story
The Haverettes All Girls Marching Band was formed in 1965 and is a youth marching band based in Hornchurch, Essex.
The band caters for girls and women of all ages who would like the opportunity to play a traditional musical instrument. You don't need to know how to read music or even how to play an instrument at all! The band has qualified music instructors who will teach you EVERYTHING.
We are regularly involved in numerous events ranging from competitions, local fetes and town shows & parades. In addition to this we have also been invited in recent years to take part in video shoots for music videos, play at football grounds, take part in national parades through central London and travel abroad to perform in Europe.
The Haverettes are a listed Charity, Charity Number: 803402, and rely solely on donations from the public to allow the band to run. The donations given to the band go towards hall hire, instructor fees and instrument repair. Please dig deep and give as much as you can!
