Allah Azawajal has blessed us with many luxuries and comforts, just one of them being blessing of parents. We are so immersed in our lives and comfort that we take these blessings for granted. I am talking about the basics; a roof over our head, a hot meal, a loving family. By Allah the kids we care for at Hayat didn’t have even these. Hence why, I called them luxuries because that is what it is for the kids at Hayat. These things are abundant in our lives, so we are not grateful enough and are not careful enough with them.

Brothers and Sisters, if you had seen the condition of some of the children we took in, you will be shocked. We have kids you wouldn’t even imagine to be orphaned and without help because of their age, not losing one but often both parents. Most have lost their parent(s) due to war casualties, or mines going off in their fields.

With the help and permission of Allah SWT we have been running Hayat Orphanage for the past few years. Providing a safe place for these kids to grow, to learn and to nurture. I have directly been involved in the orphanage right from the beginning. We are NOT an organisation of any sort. It is simply family and friends looking after orphans. We set up the orphanage in Laghman, Afghanistan where I have knowledge of the people and places.

What we have done so far is to house these kids in rented properties, provide 3 meals a day, enrolment in schools, provide books, uniform and clothing and medical care.

Our goal has always been for the orphanage to act as an educational institution. As of a few weeks ago we have reached an important milestone in this goal. Alhamdulillah we were able to purchase some land for Hayat and are now looking to build it. Please brothers and sisters take part in this amazing project, Ramadan is coming, the best of months. Use it to secure a place in Jannah.

These kids will one day become leaders, teachers, engineers, doctors and scholars, and so much more, all of their efforts will contribute to your scale on that Day, a we will all most need it.

We are trying to raise £50,000, remember ALL your donations go to the Orphanage. Even the local people that work at the orphanage are poor and needy people. So Just Do It, Just Give.
