On Sunday 7th May, a group of teachers from Sunbury Manor School will be taking part in a sponsored walk in order to help raise money to support one of our students: Alfie Ward. Alfie is currently receiving treatment for Neuroblastoma, following a relapse of his condition. His family are working hard to raise funds for him to receive antibody therapy – which is not available on the NHS. Staff, students and friends of Alfie’s family have all united to help support him and his family and help raise the money. Together, we have arranged a variety of different fundraising events - now we are hoping to raise money through sponsorship too.
