In January this year George,the 3 year son of my good friend Damo and his fiance Lisa, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

He has now started a minimum 3 year course of treatment of chemotherapy and a whole host of other drugs to combat and remove the cancer cells.

The family's world has obviously been turned upside down. Damo and Lisa have postponed their wedding this July and Lisa has quit her job to look after George

As a result of the Leukaemia, treatment and his weakened immune system George is restricted in where he can go outside. The family are looking to raise funds to sort out thier unkempt back garden. To create a safe place and escape from the house during the harsher phases of his treatment.

To help and support this I'll be completing a biathlon on the 21st May

This will consist of:
- A 15 mile (24km) run around Norwich
- A 50 mile (80.5km) cycle from Trowse to Beccles and back.
