Weʼve raised £320 to Replace special needs boys stolen bike, helmet, lights and lock
- Funded on Monday, 15th January 2018
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
Unbelievable but not. My special needs son, who many may know as he helps out at the market has had his bike stolen from behind the butchers stall at the market today. It's his only mode of transport and he is absolutely devastated. It was a Claud Butler Elite R2 and had his helmet and lights on it as well (the latter things were a bit stupid of him I will admit). It was locked with a padlock. If anyone has any info, I'd be so appreciative as he is absolutely distraught bless him.
I'm a bit miffed to find that Just Giving take 5% from the funds raised and so have had to up the goal. Anything raised over this will be used on security devices for the new bike.
Thanks in advance.

6 years agoI would like to thank everyone who donated to the cause. It has enabled us to replace most of the things which were stolen. The total cost came to £320 which included a movement alarm so the bike can have extra protection along with his new lock.
