Hi, my name is Jovi and I’m 18 and have made the decision to shave my head to support our family member and friend as she battles a rare brain cancer, grade 4 Diffuse Midline Glioma that usually only affects 5-12 year olds, Alayna is 17 !!! and is unique as usual! It caused a bleed on her brain, so she had a stroke and has lost half her vision in both eyes; the surgeon removed as much of the tumour as they safely could, and she is having treatment to reduce the size of the tumour and to keep it at bay as long as possible.

I have known Alayna my whole life, she is lovely, funny, beautiful - not yet 18 and fighting the most difficult battle of her life like a trooper - I want to be part of her support by being sponsered in shaving my head on the 22nd of July, to show my solidarity with Alayna and to raise money for the Alayna Shae Fund that has been set up by friends to help Alayna and her family for when they need extra money for treatment/travel costs/special equipment/ making memories and anything she may need later on so please, donate what you can! :-)
