Story
Thousands of indigent accident victims die annually in Nigeria due to their inability to pay their emergency hospital bills. Health Emergency Initiative has (for the past two years) helped more than 200 such indigent accident victims to receive life-saving care within 24hrs. As we approach the end of the year, we expect accident rates to triple nationwide, and need funding to be able to save more lives. We have signed MOUs with public Hospitals and the FRSC (Federal Road Safety Corps) as partners in this initiative. The Hospitals agree to treat such accident victims on the condition that we make cash payment within 24 hours.
