As most of you know I have been studying for my children's nursing degree and I have now reached my final year.

As part of my degree i must complete an elective placement which is where I will be able to go abroad to experience nursing within a completely different and challenging environment.

I have chosen Sri Lanka as I want to experience working within a developing country. This will be a tough challenge for me both emotionally as it will be the first time i have been away from my family as well a tough environment to work in as they have very limited technology and supplies available to them.

I really want to be able to make a difference and help bring happiness and love to these poorly children who are used to having so little. Hannah had so much love to give under such hard circumstances for her and she is one of the main reasons why I want to be a nurse so i can keep giving back to help carry on her legacy, and this placement is part of that for me.

The money that you so generously donate will help me to fund my Elective Placement as well as giving me a great opportunity to take much needed supplies over to them which I have gained permission to do.
