Weʼve raised £745 to provide deaf children with hearing aids in the Philippines
- Funded on Thursday, 13th April 2017

Story
I am a children's audiologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. I am self-funding a voluntary trip to work with deaf children in the Balacan region of the Philippines. I will be assessing children's hearing and fitting them with hearing aids donated by my paediatric audiology department. Deaf children in the Philippines have no access to hearing aids without cost which many can't afford. Hearing aids are life-changing as they enable access to speech, learning and social interaction.
My personal assistant (8 year old daughter!) and I plan to head out there TOMORROW so we really need your help as soon as possible.
Any gesture of help will be very much appreciated - however small
