As most of you will know Ambers beautiful best friend Isabelle was diagnosed in August last year with an Osteosarcoma Tumour in her knee. Isabelle has had a gruelling 9 months of chemotherapy and an operation to remove a tumour. Part of Isabelles recovery meant she has had to learn to walk again which has been very hard and painful journey. When the 9 months was over on the 4th May, Isabelle had her last chemotherapy treatment. She was soon back at school, her hair was growing back and was begining to socialise again and enjoy time with her friends. Unfortunately on the 25th May Isabelle and her family were given the heartbreaking news that her battle with cancer wasnt over as the disease has returned with avengence to her lungs meaning more chemotherapy. The first thing Isabelle said was that would she loose her hair again and if so she just wanted to have a brown wig to look like her best friend Amber! This then prompted me to start raising the money towards helping Isabelle get a new brown wig. However Candlelighters had since so very kindly offered to give Isabelle a wig. We still want to raise as much money as possible to give Isabelle and her family the chance to go on holiday or have a nice meal together, a pamper day, or even just to help cover the costs of travelling up to Newcastle where Isabelle faces the next 15 weeks having her treatment.
