Story
1 in every 100 children has autism and in coventry this for some reason is doubled.Service dogs for children with autism act as constant companion to help improve social interactions,relationships,teach life skills,increase interest in activities and decrease stress within the family.The assistance dogs dont pass judgement but break into the world of autism and become a crucial part of the family s life.
Anxiety for a child with autism can be crippling with just doing day to day activities like going to the shops! But with an assistance dog they bring positive changes in behaviour and provide comfort when upset and more importantly keeping the child safe using a wide range of methods.
Those who know me well will know how close this is to my heart ❤
If i'm going to do this birmingham half marathon on sunday 15th october then what better way of raising awareness and extra funds for such worthy charity! .Please help me and my sisterinlaw to raise as much money as possible for these amazing children !
