My good friend Helen was diagnosed with lung cancer 1 year ago. She has an amazing husband Matthew, and gorgeous 3-year-old son, and this has been a horrific experience for all of them. Helen has never smoked, and always led a very healthy lifestyle, which makes this even more unjust.

Recently, things have deteriorated markedly. Helen has enough money to go to Germany for vital treatment for 2 weeks in October. However, for the best results, she needs 3 weeks’ treatment. This costs A LOT of money.

I aim to run ‘5k a day’ (hangovers and all!) for a month starting tomorrow – no time like the present! I would be so grateful for any sponsorship from people that know Helen, and also any of my friends who do not but would like to give. Thanks in advance xx
