I am trying to repay my son for everything he has done for me. He hasn't had it easy since birth, he was beaten quite badly just before his 1St birthday which left him with nerve damage, hearing speech and eye sight problems and also left him very nervous. He struggled through school because of his hearing and had at least 8 operations to try to help. He was constantly verbally and physically bullied at school but wouldn't tell me as he thought I had too much to cope with. I found out by someone else who witnessed him getting beat up. His passion was horses and every weekend helped at the stables which led to him doing a diploma in horse management then onto a degree. He then had a serious accident where a car hit him and his horse wrapping him round a lamp post. . He damaged his back and internal organs and had to rethink his career. He has retrained and is now the manager of his department. He attended our local gay pride event and on the way home he was beaten by 3 men all because of his sexuality, but he doesn't flaunt it. While my son was growing up he put everybody before himself , he's caring and would help anyone out. He never asked for anything growing up and if he did I new he really needed it. He always helped me and bought me presents and cuddled me when I was upset. The one thing my son would love to do is marry his partner of 6 years but everytime they save up something crops up. I have always worked until recently due to illl health. I would really like to be able to help my son out to get married as a repayment for everything he has gone through and gone without. He originally wanted a big wedding with 7 bridesmaids, 1 for each colour of the rainbow. It has slowly dwindled down and is just hoping for a register office and then just go to the pub after. But I would love to beable to pay for a proper reception so he has some memories, I'm not asking for anything big just enough please
