I know lots of you are aware of 'Puss Puss', the stray white cat that lives around Arden Close. Lilian Griffiths and I have been feeding him between us for the last few years, and in the last 6 months he's built a relationship with my cats, sharing the cat house that one of mine sleeps in, in my back garden!

Lilian and I have decided it's about time we sort him out, he's really matted and obviously with the winter coming up we want to try and get him indoors and warm!

We've been speaking to the RSPCA over the last few weeks, they've leant me a trap which I'm currently using unset to feed him in. All is going well so far! The vets at pets at home are on standby to admit him and shave him (poor boy!) Once he's sorted either Lilian or I are going to bring him inside and try and settle him in one of our houses and officially adopt him!

The vets have estimated around £100 to shave him (because they will have to sedate him). Plus he will need flea and worming treatment. Lilian and I are planning to pay it between us and then continue to feed him and obviously take care of any future vet bills. However as we know a lot of you around the village are aware of him we wondered if anyone would be able to contribute towards the initial costs, even if it's just a few pounds, any help would be greatly appreciated!
