    Story

In August last year, Alison, was diagnosed with craniocervical instability. In short this is a neurological condition in which means the vertebrae in her neck can no longer support the weight of her head. This is a condition in which she risks a full neck dislocation or paralysis, if no action is taken Alison life expectancy will be reduced to a number of years or months.

Unfortunately we cannot access the much needed care in this country, as she suffers from a rare connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. As a result we have had to crowdfund £100,000 to pay for the operation at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, USA.
