Been thinking of cutting my hair short for a while now and anyone who knows me knows i don't usually do things by halves so thought what the heck.....lets shave the lot off and raise some money for charity at the same time. Its been so difficult to decide which charities to do it for but I've decided that any money i can rise will be split between

A)The special care baby unit at Raigmore Hospital. Did you know that 1 baby in 13 is born early and require the help of the local SCBU in their early days and weeks and even months in some cases. My youngest sister, several of my nieces and nephews and some of my closest friends children would probably not be here now had it not been to SCBU and the doctors and nurses that work there. And we all know the NHS has limited funds for all the equipment needed.

B) Guide dogs Scotland, I have a truly lovely friend whose guide dogs have been a lifeline and until i met her i was unaware of just how much support this charity give to both the owners and dogs. The impact these wonderful dogs can have on someones life is amazing, they can provide freedom, independence, confidence and companionship to people with sight loss. And its not just the puppy training that the people at this wonderful charity provide, they pay vet bills and can even provide the food if needed.

Any funds raised over the £2000 target I am hoping i can raise will be going to, an as yet undecided, small animal charity, there are so many that i just cannot decide which one yet but hopefully i will raise enough cash that i can send something to several small deserving causes.
