    Story

    Helens story 💕

Helen is a devoted wife and mum to two beautiful young children Archie and Violet. She has a heart of gold and has such a positive impact on anyone who is lucky enough to meet her. Always caring and helping and supporting others and never expected anything in return....

Now Helen and her family are in need of help and support themselves.

In January this year the family were devastated by the news she had been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Helen has endured endless rounds of chemo, two intense stem cell transplants which resulted in her being cared for in a coma in intensive care...twice. She defeated the odds and battled through only to be faced with lymphoma cancer and to be told there is nothing further the doctors can do to help.

The family are now coming to terms with the fact Helen only has a few precious weeks left with them just before Christmas.

After spending close to 12 months in Hosptial separated from her loved ones she is now back home receiving palliative care.

Any donations made will be used to help with the financial pressures they are currently facing, Rob has been unable to work since Helens disgnosis so any help will make a huge huge difference.

    Thank you..... xxx

Before being diagnosed Helen had several visits to the GP as she was suffering from severe head aches and neck pain. Each time sent away with pain relief and no further checks.

A simple blood test would have detected the Leukaemia sooner.

If you feel unwell and don’t feel you are getting the treatment you need, please be persistent and get a second opinion, it could save your life...
