Please support me on my 5km run on 14th July, so that I can help raise money for a friend’s lovely little girl who suffers with epilepsy.

Alice was born in August 2016. At a week old, she started having seizures, which got worse. Her mum and dad (Emma and Robert Lawley) took her to the hospital and she was diagnosed with epilepsy after a week in hospital. She was discharged from hospital with medicines, but the seizures kept on coming and after 8 months of going backwards and forwards to hospital, she was diagnosed with a different type of epilepsy and ended up on steroids. The seizures stopped for a short period, but then returned and she is now on a new medication, but it has left her with a development delay – she is now 21 months old and cannot sit unaided and is unable to crawl. We are raising money to purchase a special seat for Alice to help her when she’s out and about with her Mum and Dad, which will give her the support she needs to sit at a table, sit in a supermarket trolley and go on a swing. This will allow Alice the opportunity to enjoy life like any other child until she catches up.
