Me and my partner Sonia are hoping that there are some wonderful people out there that can help us get IVF treatment.

A little bit of background. 12 years ago, Sonia unfortunately had an ectopic pregnancy from a previous relationship. For anyone that isn't sure what that is, it basically means the egg got stuck in the Fallopian tube and never made it to the womb, so the baby started growing in the tube until it ruptured and nearly took her life. The baby was 14/15 weeks along and there was nothing they could do to save it or the tube. She was left with 1 tube in tact and a large scar.

Fast forward to now. We never thought she would be able to conceive again, but to our unexpected delight, she did! We were so happy when we saw the positive pregnancy tests, she did about 8 just to be sure! we told family and friends and everything was great.

A week later, she noticed she was bleeding like her normal monthly cycle. After reading loads of stories online, we weren't to worried about this, but pushed for an early scan anyway to be on the safe side due to her history. The scan was booked for 26/09/17.

Our happiness soon turned to shock. Went for the ultrasound, and there was nothing in the womb, at that point, our hearts sank. The baby was again attached just outside the ovary. It was 6 weeks along and had a heartbeat. I can't tell you how we felt at this point, it was literally the most devastating news we could have had.

She was then rushed to surgery a few hours after the scan and is currently in hospital in agony as i write this (27/09/17). We are literally broken, there is no possible way she will ever be able to conceive naturally ever again. She had to have the other tube removed along with a lot of scar tissue from her previous ectopic, they really did a number on her. So we lost the baby.. To lose a child at any age is horrible, even though this was very early stages, it was still our little miracle. It would have been my first and i was so excited to be a dad. At the moment, i just cannot stop the tears. She is the love of my life and i want to do everything i can to have a baby with her. The only way is through IVF which does not come cheap. It means they would fertilise the egg in a lab and implant it in the womb.

She is currently recovering so i'm starting this page up now in the hope it will get us closer to our target by the time she's ready. She'd do it tomorrow if she could.. I know £2000 is a lot of money, but it would mean so much and would put a big dent in the total cost.

So please, if there's anyone that could find it in their hearts to help us out, i would never be able to thank you enough.
