As many of you know, we support and help a small village in The Gambia called Genieri. The village water supply to the gardens has failed so there is no growing food this season.

Due to Covid-19 the village has been on lockdown for many weeks so there is no money, no work and no food. Their food supplies of rice are very near to the end. We desperately want to get some money to them to enable them to buy some rice from the next village.

Just £250 will buy 24 x 25kg sacks of rice. A 25kg sack will last a big compound 10 days. There are 53 compounds in the village, so ideally we want to raise at least enough to supply every compound with 10 days worth of rice.
