Hi peeps I’m hoping you could help.

A few years ago I met a lovely lady called Ellie Griffiths at Slimming World, she was kind and welcoming and I have stayed FB friends ever since.

Well here’s the bit I would like you to help with, this beautiful lady is battling triple negative breast cancer like an absolute warrior, but bless her has a young family that are going through this awful time watching their mummy fight this ugly, evil disease.

On my own bucket list for my big 60 birthday I want to do a wing walk! And there are a couple of things with this is that firstly I have to lose 2 stone by 25 June and secondly I’m scared of heights, but the courage that Ellie and her family are showing through this nightmare has spurred me on to book this. It will be one scary hour out of my life and nothing compared to this wonderful lady battling every single day!

This is close to my heart as I watched my mum go through this. I was an adult then but the pain of seeing this happen to her was horrendous, so the thought that her young son and daughter have to suffer this makes my heart ache for them. I want to raise money so they can have as many fun times as they possibly can together as a family.
