I’m really excited to tell you that in January I am going to be attending a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with an organisation called YWAM (Youth with a Mission). I will be based for 3 months near Tauranga New Zealand. The course is split into a ‘Training Phase’ and an ‘Outreach Phase’.

‘Training Phase’ = 3 months of training on biblical topics and principles. During these intensive 3 months I will be spiritually and physically trained and equipped for the Outreach Phase.

‘Outreach Phase’ = 2 months of outreach and voluntary work in parts of Asia and the Pacific Islands. I will be working with vulnerable children and adults that have been affected by disease, poverty and injustice to improve their situations. This could be spiritually or through practical activities like running kids camps or doing some building work for local communities.

So this is where you come in... I need your help!

The cost of the DTS is going to be around £7000. I have already saved £4000 of my own money and I am aiming to raise an extra £2000, which will enable me to go on the outreach phase.

To reach this goal I'm hoping to do the Living Below the Line challenge but any fundraising suggestions are very welcome!
