At worst, homelessness can mean sleeping rough on the streets.

In 2015 Government statistics showed that 3,569 people slept rough on any one night across England - this is over double the number counted in 2010!

Just like many of you reading this, I also want to make a positive difference in the world. Starting off with something - no matter how small or simple - could mean the difference between life and death to somebody in need; and what a better place than to start feeding and clothing the homeless sleeping rough in London's streets?

No matter what colour, creed, religion or cultural background we are from; we are all one race - The human race. This winter is supposed to be the coldest on record in the UK for the past 30 years and I can't imagine how freezing the homeless must be on the streets when we ourselves start shivering the moment we leave our houses layered up from head to toe!

Many months ago I had an idea to go out on a random day and give out hot/ cold meals to those sleeping rough on London's streets - paying close attention to women and children but once I found this website I realised that we could maximise the end result just by asking the public to donate and make this idea into a regular reality for the homeless.

I have chosen the total of £1500 as an initial target but any donations no matter how small are all greatly appreciated. Once the 30 day donation window closes, I intend to schedule a plan of action along with a date and time for myself, a few people (maybe you would also like to come along!) to meet up in London and start handing out meals, socks, scarves, gloves & blankets to those in need.
