Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
My step dad has been robbed of his tools twice within a couple of months (once from lockers on site and again from his van outside his house, both of which aren’t covered under his insurance). I‘m sure this has happened to thousands of people however his man has helped all the family and friends with joinery projects and never asked for more than a pint, personally he helped me with my first house gutting it and restoring it to a good standard and I’m forever in his debt for this.
It still ceases to amaze me how scumbags can do this to decent hardworking folk, it’s just mindless and careless.
I wish I could replace all the tools myself however this isn’t possible, so I’m hoping some people can contribute no matter how small so he can get back to doing what he’s passionate about!
I’ll post receipts for every milestone we hit, literally anything will be greatly received by him. I will stress that I’ve done this off my own back because I know he will not accept ‘charity’ however this is more like appreciation for a hardworking joiner in a local community.
