This is Tim‘s FB post, and as the result of this he got a message telling him to contact a number regarding a £412 donation. When, in good faith, our mate Tim made contact, it turned out to be a wind up, a scam, a bloody laugh!
This is our chance to make it good for him, his team, and of course, the kids for Christmas.

Hi .... Once again we are collecting Christmas Selction Boxs , New Toys ,Games for the Clacton Lifeboat Crew to deliver to the Children's Cancer wards at Addenbrooks Hospital , Childrens Ward Colchester Hospital and Different Childrens Hospices in the region .... If you would like to donate you can drop of items to Clacton Lifeboat Station Sunday Mornings or Wednesday Nights ,Clacton Town Hall (Mon to Fri ) ... Or I can collect ... Hope you can help in some way .... One small gift = one big smile from a child on a ward or being treated in a hospice ... We will be delivering to Hospitals and Hopices on Saturday 9 December .....
