For my 21st birthday, in lieu of a gift, I have decided to raise money for Ben Clarke, an amazingly brave, funny, caring and loving little boy who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy on 31st August 2017, at the age of just 4. A moment that turned the world of our dear friends Alex and Lisa upside down. .

Duchenne MD is one of the most common fatal genetic disorders to affect children (mostly boys) around the world. It is a devastating, progressive and as yet incurable muscle-wasting disease. The current life expectancy for children with Duchenne is their early 20s.

As with all parents, Alex and Lisa want to provide Ben with the best possible quality of life and amazing experiences and I want to help them do this. Anything you feel you can donate will contribute to providing the best life for Ben and would be greatly appreciated.
