Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
My nephew Kenneth is 36 years old, and lives in Kampala, Uganda. His parents died when he was a young boy and I am his guardian. For the last 13yrs, he has suffered from joint pains with no conclusive diagnosis from doctors in Uganda. Over the last 3 years, his condition has gotten worse resulting in a complete paralysis of his arms and legs on one side of his body. Due to this degenerative metabolic bone disease, he cannot walk or sit, and needs 24 hour care. He is in constant pain from his condition and from bedsores.
Kenneth has been taken to various hospitals in a pursuit for a clear diagnosis and prognosis and the expenses have become quite great. I am supporting him from the UK, and I now need help with this. We need funds to pay for Kenneth's medication, personal care, physiotherapy, and to purchase a wheelchair for him. Furthermore, with this support I will be explore medical options abroad. Without this help, Kenneth will be unable to manage any longer.
If anyone out there knows about this illness please help. Your advice and information will be highly appreciated.
