Our aim is to raise funds to send my sister Nicola who has Progressive MS to Mexico for Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant and Chemotherapy treatment, otherwise known as HSCT.

Nicola is such an inspiration to everyone that knows her. She has two children and at 35 years old is resigned to spending most of her time in a wheelchair. As Nicola's sister I have watched this awful condition affect her life greatly. She has taken various medications and nothing has worked, Nicola also has to be admitted into hospital twice a year for a month at a time as her condition is so aggressive. She has to leave her two young children and struggles to be away from them for so long but she has no control over MS attacks.

Everyone who knows Nicola knows her for her brilliant personality and positive outlook on life. Loved by all my sister is my hero!

Having this treatment will hopefully make such a difference to the Nicola's quality of life. She has battled MS for 11 years now and it is only after the death of our mum five years ago that it has turned Progressive. We are currently on the waiting list which is approximately 12-15 months. The treatment is over a period of a month and is extremely aggressive, it can take up to two years for the full benefits of it to show.

Unfortunately in the UK those with progressive MS are not able to be treated. There are no medications open to Nicola and we as a family find it so hard to watch her decline further. If you could help in any way no matter how small a donation it would be so greatly received.
