This is Roo. He is a beautiful white bunny that unfortunately has suffered almost constant pain in his short life. At 1 year old Roo should be hopping around the house and garden, playing and nibbling on his favourite snacks. Unfortunately that is not possible for Roo as he has a horrible medical condition called Patella Luxation. Patella Luxation causes his knee cap on his back left leg to become loose from the bone, leaving it pretty useless (he can't weight bare on it and he drags it behind him) and excrutiatingly painful. On top of this the bones in his leg has several old breaks.

This condition is getting worse with time with his leg dragging further behind his little body more and more and the painkillers are getting less and less effective. Due to him not being able to run around like other bunnies, he's putting on weight which is putting pressure on his spine and his hips. This means possibly long term damage and even more pain.

This means that Roo's leg needs to be amputated as soon as possible. He cannot live in the condition he is in now and we need to raise the money so we can lose the leg, not his life.
