Rowan is an inspirational, determined 6 year old boy who comes to our school. He is always happy and loves telling us his jokes. Rowan has cerebral palsy and currently uses a walker and wheelchair to get around school. He has been offered SDR surgery, which aims to reduce the stiffness in his legs and make him much more mobile. However, as this surgery is not funded by the NHS, his family are working hard to raise the £30,000 required to fund the operation and post-op physio.

We would love to see him running down our school corridors and keeping up with his sister and friends in the playground.

Debby and I have recently started a beginners running course, which ends with a 5K run on Saturday 16th December. We would like to use this opportunity to help raise some much needed funds for Help Rowan Run. If you would like to sponsor us to complete our run, it would be very much appreciated.
