Prof.Kumarasamy Rajaram Telugu Minority Educational Charitable Trust

The Trust is formed with a foremost aim to up lift the villages in and around Tirumangalam.The Trust has been succeeded in providing drinking water to the people of the nearby villages through a water tank which is built in the Rayapallayam Road. Likewise we wish to solve other problems which are prevailing in those areas.

To our recent observation we come to know that the population of Meenakshipuram village is 1500. But only 700 hundred people are available in this village.Rest of them have gone outside for jobs.Young boys are not sent to school instead they have been working mostly hotels in the urban area.The Trust plans to Educate the village people to know their own resources.God has created the human being.Every individual has his own skill.Without Education,most of the village people are illiterate and ignorant,So,they waste their precious time in petty quarrels.The root cause of all the troubles and poverty of villages is lack of Education.So,the Trust has a plan to build a school with all modern facilities.Prof.Rajaram(late)was the first man who studied a P.G course and raised to a level of professor in Alagappa college,To fulfill his vision,the authorities of the trust are taking various measures to up lift the people of the village Meenakshipuram.

A public library is planned to be built within a short duration.The public Library will help the village people to understand the outside world.For want of education they cannot think beyond their old ideas.Recently the trust has tried to cultivate a land in its area.It is succeeded in the new task.The yield from the land is reasonable.The young people can me trained through Information Technology ideas and they can apply the sceme in their lands.Due to poor economic conditions without knowing the value of new methods in cultivation,they have been sent to other places for their livelihood.Agriculture is the primary livelihood of the villages in agriculture. Most of the time they are ideal .The trust has plan to train them in handicraft and other small industries.It will keep them employed in spare time and in the off season period.This will become a source of additional income for them.The use of Information Technology will help them to improve the social economic status.Through that knowledge their agricultural products will find right kind of market and reach these markets in minimum time without number of middle man involved in it.

There are more Government schemes are available for the improvement of villages.The Trust will take necessary steps to create an awareness about those schemes among the poor people of villages in and around our trust area.
