We (Evie. Robbins and Evie. Watkins year 5 and 6 ) are doing a sponsored bike ride to help save a trafficked and endagered species called the pangolin. The ride is tacking place on the 14th of july on the forest of dean bike ride trail. Every five minutes, a pangolin is taken from its natural habitat in the wild. We feel strongly about the pangolins because they are being trapped, killed, eaten and ( illegally ) smuggled in the continents of Asia and Africa. The reason why they are being killed is because many people in Asia believe their scales are a cure for cancer, which they are not. Pangolins are fantastic creatures and they are in need of our help.
