On the night of 12th June 2018, several families in Merryfield Close lost their homes and all their possessions in a house fire. One of the residents, Sharon has significant health issues, with very limited sight and mobility. She lost all her aids in the fire.

Sharon and other residents have lost all their furniture, clothes, white goods and everything that makes life manageable. Several residents were unable to insure their possessions as there had previously been flooding down the hill from the rear of the property, and they simply couldn't get insurance.

Please consider donating anything you can to help them get back on their feet (literally in Sharon's case as she even needs to replace her electric bed and chair).
