I really, really need your help. Its 3:30am…I can’t sleep. I am sick with worry and feelings of guilt and shame. I am at the end of my road and don’t know what to do or where to turn.

I am a full time single dad of 4 children, the youngest being just 5 years old.

I am about to lose the home that has been one of the only things of security and certainty in my dear children’s lives- their home.

I feel a failure to my children. A man is supposed to be able to provide and keep a roof over their heads. They shouldn’t have to have the worries about where they will sleep or whether there will be food in the cupboards or having to walk for 3-4 miles (one way) twice a day.

I don't tell my children the problems that we are having right now.

I do my best to look after my children emotionally but the overwhelming pressure of the financial burden is taking its toll on me, which in turn affects how I am able to find ways to provide financial support for my children.

I would do take the children on again in a heartbeat…but I do wonder sometimes if I had done the right thing for them if they are only going to face uncertainty with me too.

My car is 6 months behind on car payments and the car will be taken off me within the next few weeks if I do not make up the shortfall.
(We live 3-4 miles away from their schools, which means that they would have to walk that distance to and from school each day.)

I care for the children full time and work part time to try to provide. I have no family to financially help. The Government has just reduced any financial support significantly which makes an even greater shortfall for the rent for the home.

With a heavy heart I ask if anyone out there will be bale to help me raise the £2500 to help me help my family to make up the rent and also the car payments. This will give me some added time to find some other alternative solutions.
