    Story

All of his life Wayne has been a very active person, always busy working on his most recent project, building or making things, helping out others or running around with his nieces and nephews. 9months ago Wayne began experiencing severe pain in his back he was signed off work and went to seek medical attention, his symptoms and pain were unexplained and despite numerous tests the doctors and hospital could not determine the problem, over the next 9 months Waynes condition deteriorated and he is now unable to walk and is pretty much house bound, using a wheel chair to go out and about where necessary. Wayne has gone from being an active person who was the one to help others when they needed it to now having to rely on other people and the support of his wife Liz to support him with daily tasks he still has no formal diagnosis which means that he is not yet receiving any help from the government and suffers chronic pain on a daily basis. Wayne has always been a person to try and see the best in a bad situation and puts a brave face on or makes a joke out of his situation but what frustrates him most about his condition is the fact that he can no longer do things that he enjoys, he feels he has lost his independence and a part of his identity. With the help of family and friends Wayne has had a ramp built to help him get out of the house in his wheelchair, what we would now like to achieve is to build a garage/workshop that would be accessible for wayne to get into to be able to participate in his hobbies, maintain some of his independence and generally improve his quality of life. Relying only on his wife Liz's income money is very tight.
Wayne has been donated a suitable garage but we now need to raise funds to build fpundations for the garage and suitable ramp access into the garage for Wayne.

Please donate as much or as little as you can all donations are appreciated.
