We're a social enterprise using horticulture to help ease and prevent poor mental health in our community and are raising funds to buy tools and equipment for our volunteers and service users to use to improve our garden.

Higher Ground was born when our garden manager Sam Coulson, realised the positive impact gardening had had on his own mental health. For the past two years he and project manager Jane Pryde have worked towards building the social enterprise and are now set to take on a plot in Allendale, Northumberland to create a community garden for wellbeing.

At sunrise in just three short weeks at the North East Skinny Dip Jane and Sam will queasily toss their clothes onto the sand at Druridge Bay and charge into the North Sea, shaking through terror, embarrassment and cold. Please help us reach our target by donating.
