Hi Friends,

Hope Project is a community centre based in Thessalonki, Greece which equips and empowers displaced children, teens and adults through a creative learning programme using Maths, Science, English, German, Sports, Art and Arabic. They also deliver Life Skills, construction, cooking and music workshops. Hope aims to provide a safe environment and a platform where refugees can develop and contribute towards the project and their own future.

Some of you will know that my courageous friends Tania and Ellie made a vital decision to set up Hope Project last year. In the past 8 months they have documented every step of the journey- from the road trip move to Greece, to finding the space, to renovating the space, to teaching and to expanding their work. It has not been easy but they have been able to facilitate a space where many children, teens and adults have been able to learn, relax and be themselves without prejudice or judgement.

With that said the project is expanding and growing in unexpected ways however the funds are limited soo on 1st of September, Anushka, Tania and myself will undertake the mammoth 7 Sisters trial (from Seaford to Eastbourne) to help raise money for Hope Project and we need your help. Please help me reach my £500 target in order to continue our work on the ground and donate what you can.

Your donation allows us to equip and empower children and adults. The more funding we receive the more classes, workshops and food we can provide, we believe it is important to remain transparent with how your donations are being spent and will be documenting every step of the way.
