Well this is it - I've reached Calais. Channel Swim done - all 1408 lengths. Thank you everyone who has donated along the way. I'm so grateful, and this amazing rescue which now has just a few more weeks to raise the remaining money to to buy it's premises or close is worth every penny. This is a pic of one of the baby squirrels they rescued being fed. This week's update on my "Channel Swim": I'm cautiously back swimming again! Yaaay! A few more lengths done - just 206 lengths to do. As always thank you so much for your interest and donations. Although I've passed my target I'd like to keep going as the real target is to raise as much as I possibly can so this amazing and much needed rescue and sanctuary can be saved for good and carry on helping our injured wildlife in need of their compassion and care. This week's update on my Channel Swim: Hoping to be back swimming again very soon - just 314 lengths to go. Thank you so much to all the kind people who have donated. This week the Rescue have helped countless more birds and animals, such as the injured swan in someone's garden, a cat who now needs a forever home, badgers and foxes, and the sad case where they couldn't help - the fox who died after a dog attack. They know she has cubs and are still trying to find them. Please donate to help this amazing compassionate rescue stay open for good.
