We are a team of 14 young people, all aged 16, and as a part of NCS we are undertaking a social action project to benefit the local community by conserving the number of bees - Old Trafford. We have chosen to help by improving and renovating the garden of a local care home by planting more colourful plants to increase the pollination levels of bees. Currently we are planning on introducing new flowers such as lavender, lilies and alison and other decorations such as bug hotels.

The following day we are then going to host a garden party for the residents of the home and their family and friends. We will be running a campaign alongside this - #beepartofit - which aims to make the residents happier and combat loneliness. It will also promote bee conservation and gives the residents a sense of self-confidence. We will then donate all of our proceeds to a Bee charity.
