My mum is receiving life saving treatment for bowel cancer, this treatment is not available on the NHS and of course comes with huge costs. Throughout her 5 year battle with cancer she has been graceful and dealt with every aspect of it privately. Whilst trying to finance her own treatment she donates to other's, commenting on how pleased she is that they are getting support. Never once complaining about the money she vitally needs that will help give her years of healthy life. I don't believe one person is more deserving of the help than another, cancer is a cruel disease and I hope that everyone receives the help that they need. However if I can, I'd like to help my mum by raising some money so that she can finish the recommended treatment. To anyone that can help I am touched and most grateful.
