Ben is 10 years old and lives in Southampton with his two siblings and his parents. He is cheeky, funny and loves to watch Southampton FC play.
Ben has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.....his muscles are slowly wasting away and there is currently no cure.

I want to do everything I can to try and make life as easy as possible for this lovely family. There are many things that Ben will need to make his life as comfortable and fulfilling as possible, unfortunately these things are often expensive and not covered on the NHS. Ben's parents have set up a campaign called For Ben, For All. They pledge to raise funds to not only help Ben, but to help fund research in to Duchenne and hopefully one day find a cure.

What am I doing?
Last year I ran 6 half marathons in an effort to raise funds for the For Ben, For All fundraising campaign. This year I am going to run harder and further than I ever thought I could; I am going to attempt 7 full Marathons to try and raise vital funds For Ben, For All.
Every time I see Ben I see the devastating effects this condition is having on him and I know I cant make this better for him, or his family but I hope that maybe some financial support and knowing that we all care, will be a small light during some of the darker times.

What can you do??
Donate, share the appeal, raise some awareness of Duchenne.

Bake cakes, wash cars, do a sponsored walk; do something.
