Story

Over the past few years the homelessness situation in Manchester has become increasingly more dire. With thirty households a week being placed on emergency accomadation and the draw of Manchester's current homeless provision from those in our satalite towns; the city has seen increased pressure on municipal efforts and services have been stretched to breaking point

The 'Homelessness Project Manchester' was started nearly two years ago by a friend of the family and his mates who really wanted to make a difference in giving some respite to the growing number of rough sleepers and marginalised individuals we were seeing to be growing in numbers weekly on our streets.

I will be running the Manchester 10k in May and raising money for the project. I havent really got a target, just asking that you give what you can afford to spur me on to the finish line.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read

Isaac ;)
