I would like to start by saying thank you for taking the time to read my story. My name is Kelly and I run the Homeless Shoebox Appeal Bridgwater. I set up this appeal to provide support for the vulnerable adults and families within my local community. The appeal provides those much needed items after falling into hardship. This year it is my goal to raise as much funds to allow the appeal to provide a warm Christmas meal,  food  hampers, presents, toiletry hamper, for over 300 vulnerable adults and families. To provide warm blankets, thermals and food for rough sleeps and finally to provide a Christmas party for the children living in emergency accommodation.

In August I have organised a fun day being held on Saturday 25th August 11-5pm at the YMCA Bridgwater. The Easter appeal is under way to provide all children living in emergency accommodation with an Easter gift.
