Crime is a problem around Houseman Crescent, Hightrees Drive & Highmarsh Crescent. Recently, there have been over 27 incidents of burglary or suspected burglars. In response, local residents have set up a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme (NWS) - please join here www.ourwatch.org.uk/scheme/35637/houseman-crescent . To reduce crime and deter burglars, the 1st NWS meeting on 23/04/18 proposed installing a mix of strong deterrents - including NWS signs, flood-lights, cameras & PIR audio tech. The total cost for this work is estimated to be about £3.5k. This crowd funding aims to raise at least £3.5k to pay for this community project. The project is being jointly managed by a team of local residents, and led by Dave (07521 370 099).
