This page has been set up to hopefully raise funds for Mariah and her partner Liam whilst they are sat by their critically ill 5 month old sons bedside in Southampton Paediatric intensive care unit. This is Hudson's second trip to PICU since becoming so unwell with Covid and Croup on New Years Day. His lungs are damaged, weak and tired and he is now fighting covid pneumonitis aswell as pneumothoraxes of the lungs. He is currently on a respiratory bypass machine (ECMO) to buy him time for his lungs to try to repair and recover. The machine is breathing for him, oxygenating him and pumping blood around his little body. He will be on this machine for up to 3 weeks after which time he will have to try and fight this himself. At this time his dad is unable to work as he needs to stay by his sons side and support Hudson’s mum. We are all currently praying for a miracle. whilst as a family, we will continue to support them emotionally and financially as much as we all can, Hudson's road to recovery will be a very long and rocky one. We are hoping to raise as much money as we can to help towards their bills, rent , food etc so that they do not have to worry about how they are going to pay their bills and can focus all of their energy and strength in to being with their baby boy day and night whilst he fights for his life.
